Welcome to Millennial’s Marketing!

Hi there!

Thanks for visiting my blog.  I am a Communication Major/business minor at The College at Brockport, State University of New York and interested in the fields of Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations.

I spent this summer as an intern at Break the Ice Media (www.Breaktheicemedia.com, Twitter.com/Break_TheIce), and this fall I am the Advertising Salesman for The Stylus (@BrockportStylus), The College at Brockport’s student-run newspaper as well as the Social Media Intern at The College at Brockport’s Communication Department (@BrockportComm).  In the spring, I will be a Public Relations Intern at the George Eastman House (@EastmanHouse). It is my goal to learn as much as possible through these opportunities and write about them here.

I am fascinated by Social Media, Mobile Marketing, and other effective ways to market products and services in an evolving, social marketplace that is quickly becoming controlled by the Millennial Generation.  My hope is that you will find the topics covered here as interesting as I do, and we can each learn a few things in the process.

Hope to see you soon,

Jim
